MOJO MONDAY 113

My Army soldier son's 28th birthday is the 29th of November. He just returned to his station in Germany from a tour of duty in Iraq, and his dad and I will be sending his birthday gifts and card to him, this week.

When I saw the Mojo Monday sketch, I thought it a GOOD layout for Trey's birthday card. With just a few modifications, to allow for a soldier silhouette stamp, my submission (and more importantly, Trey's card) is finished!

I hope he likes it and knows that his mama is VERY proud of him!!

Pals Paper Arts "In The Pink"

Pals Paper Arts is featuring a Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge. The only requirement is that PINK be used.

Here is my submission, a bridal shower card in pink and chocolate brown.

A Cuttlebug embossing folder was used for the background; Fiskars templates used for the smooth ovals; Nestabilities used for the scalloped oval.

The shadowed name was created with PrintShopPro. The "bridal dress on hanger" and chipboard sentiment are from a 3-D set. A snippet of pink ribbon was taped behind the "chocolate" layer and "rhinestones" added to echo the smaller stones on the bridal dress. The "dress hook" is a pink brad, attached just above the dress hanger.
